Need Answer

i have my eblocker cube plugged into a Netgear N300 wifi cable modem

router. i have no internet connection (desktop, laptop, tablet or

phone) when the eblocker is plugged in. however, if i activate a vpn

then i can connect to the internet. i do not have the eblocker symbol

in the upper corner of my window. i can not connect to the device using

the http://169....... address and the eblocker is not visible when

checking "attached devices". my cube has a blinking green light and a solid amber light illuminated


i would appreciate guidance where to proceed from here.

Hello Louis,


how does your routers network settings look like?

The eBlocker is direct connected to your router?

Any other devices in your network (a managed switch, another router, a firewall)?

Is your Netgear router also the DHCP server (look into your router settings -> LAN setup -> Use Gateway as DHCP server --- Or router settings -> ADVANCED -> Administration -> Gateway Status.)?


As Tim ask, did you use other network devices like a switch, or what ever?

Yes, it is also the DHCP server. The weird thing and it is very ironic, when eblocker is on, I cannot access the eblocker forum!!!!!!

can you access the eBlocker emergency IP? http://169.254.94.109:3000/

Did your network at homes uses IPv6? If so, try to use IPv4 insteand.
